The Artist

Trugami - Natalie Rauth in day-to-day life - is an artist from the American southwest with a propensity to experience the world with a sharp intensity. She uses art as a means to work through convoluted emotions and put them back into the world in a way that is meaningful and relates feelings that words might otherwise be unable to. With a proficiency in Photoshop, she uses a digital medium to achieve effects that aren't necessarily attainable in a traditional form, as well as to mimic these forms and make the most of the tools available to her in lieu of paint and canvas.

Natalie's work began with an interest in character design and development and has evolved to explore a more personal aspect of storytelling through illustration. Pursuing an illustration degree, she seeks to continue to develop her body of work and her ability to convey more abstract concepts within the medium, particularly in a way that conveys her own stories and experiences as she moves through life and the world around her.
